In the Seventh Medium-Term Management Plan (FY21-24), we define "DX" as a priority area of the technology foundation to support the whole process of our business, reducing CO2 emissions and realizing a circular economy. In addition to leveraging AI and IoT, we have added two core pillars to the Medium-Term Management Plan to promote DX: Digital Twin, real-world replication in a virtual space to visualize processes and costs, and optimize operations; and Digital Services that transform business through optimal operation services for facilities and infrastructure, and preventive maintenance services using digital technology.
The“ Global Remote Center” is a next generation remote monitoring facility capable of supporting the full operation of a wide range of plants.
