Ha Noi International Airport Terminal 2 – Fuel Hydrant system

New passenger terminal (Terminal 2) was constructed in Hanoi (Noi Bai) International Airport using the fund by JICA Yen Loan.

Vietnam, having achieved remarkable economic progress amongst Asian countries, exhibited a sharp increase in the number of air passengers especially in Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam.
During the planning stage ofTerminal 2 Project, the number of passengers in Noi Bai International Airport had already exceeded 1.5 times of its originally estimated demand.
After Terminal 2 commenced commercial operation, the passenger handing capacity was enhanced to 2.5 times in Noi Bai International Airport.
Terminal 2 is expected to encourage the further economic growth and intensify the international competitiveness of Vietnam.

We, JFE Engineering Corporation, constructed the first Fuel Hydrant System (Aviation Fuel Facility) in Vietnam under Terminal 2 Project. This facility is able to provide safe and efficient refueling operation to aircrafts comparing to the existing system by refueler trucks.

Our scope of work included engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of Fuel Hydrant System consisting of fuel receiving facility,storage tanks, pumps, control system and other facilities.

The facility is highly evaluated by customer for its quality to satisfy stringent international standard for aviation fuel quality control and excellent operability.
