Waste-to-chemical technology
Transforming the concept of waste - Creating chemical raw materials from waste
The world's only waste gasification technology "C-PhoeniX Process®" contributing to the realization of a net-zero society and circular economy

We have named the new process under development "C-PhoeniX Process®"
for practical use of this advanced gasification technology in the waste treatment field,
which is the core of Waste-to-Chemical!
Contributing to the Realization of a Decarbonized Society and Circular Economy

- Point ①
Contributes to decarbonization and resource circulation by reducing the use of fossil-derived raw materials (such as petroleum)
- Point ②
Capable of producing syngas as chemical raw materials from a wide range of waste, including municipal solid waste such as household garbage and industrial waste
reduce CO2 emissions by avoiding emissions during waste treatment
C-PhoeniX Process Application for Chemical Recycling
The high-quality synthesis gas produced from the C-PhoeniX Process has the potential to be converted into a wide variety of products.

C-PhoeniX Process Overview

① Waste feed
② Gasification of combustible components in waste + melting of
incombustible components
③ Homogenization and recovery of slag and metal
(effective utilization of ash components)
④ Decomposition of gas into CO, CO2, and H2 suitable for chemical
manufacturing processes by maintaining at 1,200℃ for 2 seconds
⑤ Rapid cooling of gas from 1,200℃ to <100℃
(preventing re-synthesis of dioxins)
⑥ Gas purification through wet scrubbing
Toward C-PhoeniX Process’s Practical Use in Society

In February 2024, our project "Waste-to-Chemical technology development for Green Ethanol production by integration of Advanced Gasification and Biochemical Conversion technologies" was selected for the NEDO Green Innovation Fund Projects "Achieving Carbon Neutrality in Waste and Resource Circulation." Demonstration testing began in December 2025 and is scheduled to be completed in June 2026.
