Water and Wastewater treatment ODA projects
We started our business with water treatment and wastewater plant projects in Japan, and accumulated a record of EPC projects for water supply and wastewater plants in the Philippines for more than 20 years by utilizing highly competent overseas project management capability. Having pursued “Japanese quality, Asian prices”, we reached world-class price competitiveness. In order to fulfil the SDG’s by 2030, we will build infrastructure facilities that are indispensable to people's lives, and work on the realization of a sustainable society by utilizing our strengths.
Our History of Overseas Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment Business
Our full-fledged overseas expansion in the water supply and wastewater sector began in 1995 in the Philippines, where we received an order for the construction of a wastewater treatment facility. Afterwards, we have been receiving orders for small-size wastewater facilities in the Philippines, and we received the order for construction of the Parañaque wastewater treatment plant in 2015. Since then, we have been continually receiving orders for large-sized projects in the Philippines which are not limited to those funded by international and domestic financing organizations. We also have been expanding to other South-east Asian countries other than the Philippines, such as Sri Lanka and Vietnam. In the future, we will proactively challenge a wide variety of demands and contribute to the improvement of living standards in each country.
