Methane Fermentation and Sludge Utilization Facilities
JFE has extensive experience in methane fermentation and sludge utilization facilities which extract biogas, a renewable energy source, from unused resources such as sewage sludge, septic tank sludge, and food waste. The biogas energy can be converted into electricity by gas engine. The residue after fermentation can be used as fertilizer or fuel.
