New Order received for Multi-Product Pipeline Capacity Expansion

JFE Engineering (M) Sdn. Bhd. (hereinafter, “JFEEM”), the Malaysian local subsidiary of JFE Engineering Corporation (President: Kazuyoshi Fukuda; Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), has received Letter of Award(LOA) from PS Pipeline Sdn.Bhd. (“PSP”) for BEPCC (Basic and Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning) scope for Installation of a Booster Pump Station located Sepang, Selangor, Malaysia.

PSP is a joint venture between Petronas Dagangan Berhad (a subsidiary of PETRONAS) and Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn. Bhd.

The Multi Product Pipeline (MPP) was constructed in 1996 by JFE Engineering’s predecessor, then known NKK corporation, to ensure stable and reliable supply of petroleum products to Klang Valley and Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
