Creating together, living together. This is the slogan of our social coexistence activities. Under our purpose statement “Create, Care, Connect The Foundation of Lives – Just For the Earth” we are wholeheartedly addressing environmental and social issues.

Our efforts consist of two types of activities: one is through our business operations, and the other involves social contribution activities aimed at addressing issues that cannot be fully covered by our business activities. To accelerate these activities, we established the Social Coexistence Committee in the fiscal year 2022.

Furthermore, we have identified four focus areas: environment, disaster prevention, local community, and fostering the next generation development. Environment and disaster prevention are closely related to our business activities. Collaboration with local community is essential for our operations conducted in various areas. Fostering the next generation development supports people's lives robustly and connects them to the next generation. Through activities in these areas, we will promote the realization of our company's purpose.

We also value employee engagement and have put effort into holding employee-participating events and employee education. As one example, since 2024 we have been hosting the “SpoGOMI^* JFE Cup,” working to beautify the environment in the vicinity of our Yokohama Head Office and within Tsurumi Ward, Yokohama city.
Also starting in 2024, we have been participating in the "YOXO FESTIVAL" held in Yokohama Minato Mirai, where through hands-on work experience at our company, we engage in activities to co-create with the children who will lead the next generation and connect to the future.
