The JFE High Clean DX is JFE Engineering’s original technology for volatizing, separating, and decomposing dioxins contained in fly ash. Fly ash is fed into the cylindrical reactor. Dioxins and hazardous organic compounds adhering to the fly ash are volatized and separated by mixing, fluidizing, and heating them at a temperature of 400 degree C or greater then decomposed by the high-performance oxidation catalyst as the treated fly ash does not contain organic chloride compounds. Re-synthesizing of dioxin during cooling is prevented even in a gradual process. Therefore, unlike the conventional technologies, no rapid cooling process is required.
