Ash melting furnaces (plasma type)
JFE Plasma Melting System
JFE’s Plasma Melting System achieves pollution-free melting by suppressing the formation of dioxins through a reduction atmosphere in the melting furnace and the ultra-high temperature of the plasma arc.
The features of this system include the destruction of harmful chemicals through high temperatures, the ability to melt waste in any form (e.g., powder, containerized, etc.), the ability to melt a wide variety of waste (e.g., waste incineration residue, medical waste, low-level radioactive waste, etc.), and excellent economic efficiency (e.g., long electrode life, efficient power consumption per unit of production, etc.). The slag and metal produced can be reused in various engineering applications.す。
