Material Handling for Biomass Boilers

JFE Engineering’s material handling equipment is made up mainly of a belt conveyors and silos which are and capable of efficiently storing and conveying bulk materials (earth sand, coal, limestone, cement, petroleum coke, sawdust, wood chips, bark, waste tires, cut tires, waste plastics, etc.) . This equipment can handle a variety of objects if operated in combination with flex conveyors (vertical conveyor or steep conveyor), a chain conveyor, a flight conveyor, or a screw conveyor in addition to a flat conveyor. The steel silo and the cutting outlet (unloading system) contribute to the stable operation of the system and the protection of the environment.

This conveyor is capable of stably conveying substances over long distances. One of the most common issues faced by long-distance conveyors is meandering. This problem is prevented in this conveyor system by the proper placement of meandering correction rollers and accuracy control during manufacturing and installation.

Flexible curved conveyance is possible due to the fact that the belt is formed into a ring shape. As an environmental protection measure the return pipe conveyor is designed to inwardly wind the contact surface of the return belt.
